Artist Statement

I am currently studying a four year degree course in Photography, based in DIT, Temple Bar, Dublin. When I'm not busy in the darkrooms or studio I can be most probably found photographing a gig somewhere in the city centre. Music Photography is my preoccupation outside the college doors.

My work can be very broad; from shooting commercial portraits to
documenting nature. Anything that I can photograph; I will.

People interest me most however, which has led me to explore studio-based commercial work, weddings and photo-journalism.

Capturing a moment - the trapping of space and time within a single frame - is something that I cannot describe. It's not meant to be described. It is meant to bring you either with it or into it. That's why I chose photography. Words are easy. Images confront.
